What is Oasis?

Oasis is a drop-in center for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ) youth ages 14-24.  Oasis is a safe place to hang out, meet others, and learn about life.   We also offer many regularly scheduled educational programs and fun events.  Oasis has a library of books you can check out, and we offer a smoking cessation program if you need to kick the habit.  Our program BUST is a girl’s night that is held monthly, and we also have a speaker’s bureau that goes out into the community to educate others about what it’s like being a young GLBTQ person today.  We offer HIV/AIDS education and testing at Oasis, as well as safer-sex resources.

***We have a new and improved website coming soon! You can also find more information about Oasis on our MySpace page.***
